TPDC is a tax exempt not-for-profit community day camp in Haines Falls, NY. We provide a caring and nurturing environment with an age appropriate mixture of swimming, tennis, archery, games, sports, field trips, kayaking, crafts, yoga and music with a special emphasis on nature, hiking and overnight camping. Our Leaders In Training program adds more independent and adventurous activities. Supervision is provided by experienced adult educators and professionals, supplemented with teen Counselors.

WEEKLY SESSIONS FROM JUNE 29TH TO AUGUST 18TH
We will be following local and NYS day camps health and safety procedures and
will be communicating specific details with parents during the months prior to the start of Camp.
TPDC requires that all campers and staff have age-appropriate vaccinations including COVID 19 when available.

Our Campers and LITs are 3 to 14+ years old. All Campers and LITs must register for at least two weeks (except for Twilight Park campers and for house guests of longer-term campers).

Our Sessions – Weekly sessions from June 29 to August 18 (Week 1 is a two day week and camp fees are prorated) Full day is 9 am to 3 pm and half day is 9 am to 1 pm.

2023 DISCOUNTS
$25 per week, per camper for:
Siblings (for 2nd, 3rd, & 4th child in same household)
Early Bird Registration (by Feb 28,2023)
Twilight Park residents, guests, and renters
Deposit - A non-refundable deposit of $25 per camper, per week is due at time of registration.
Refund Policy - Full refund (minus the non-refundable deposit) of camp fees if you cancel two weeks or less before the start of your child’s camp. Full refund for unused days will be refunded (including deposit) if your child is quarantined due to exposure at camp.
Payments - Full payment is due one month before the start of camp. The camp accepts e-checks and credit cards, or you can set up an installment plan.
Financial Aid - Limited partial financial aid is available based on financial need. Applications for financial aid are linked to the online registration and may be submitted after your child is registered for camp.
Satisfaction Guarantee: Full refund of unused days (minus nonrefundable deposit) if child or parent is not satisfied with their camp experience.
PROGRAMS FOR TEENS AND TWEENS
Our teen programs are designed for teen campers ready for the next challenge. We begin by promoting independence in campers, then teach leadership and how to handle job responsibilities.
All camp staff & volunteers are fully vaccinated for COVID 19

Leader in Training (LIT): 13- and 14-year-olds with demonstrated maturity as a camper (12-year-old
turning 13 in 2023 will be considered) They will have more adventuresome field trips, hiking and
camping and more group selected optional activities.

Counselor Assistants: 15-year-old with LIT or CIT Program or comparable experiences or 16-year-olds without experience are eligible for volunteer or paid Counselor Assistant jobs.

Camp Helpers: 15 and older teens wanting a non-counselor job at camp that will assist with office duties, set up, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Positions can be full or part time.

Counselors / Lifeguards / Instructors: 16 and older can apply for a variety of full and part time positions.
